Our Italian-inspired Modern American restaurant is meant to be a gathering place for friends, family and colleagues to unwind, reconnect and simply enjoy each other’s company.

This group covers the bars, diners, family restaurants, fast-food spots and other kitchens that serve pizza alongside a broader menu. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Sports bars fill up on game nights and often run pizza-and-pitcher specials; diners and fast-food chains keep long hours, sometimes around the clock. Sales tax is added at the register on top of menu prices.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7–10 am. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 3,780 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in Charlotte.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Angeline’s is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Charlotte. Every time we’re in town, we make it a point to come back - especially for the ricotta and freshly baked bread, which are simply unforgettable. The mushroom dishes and pastas are equally outstanding, with flavors that are thoughtfully crafted and sure to please a variety of tastes. The service is warm, welcoming, and attentive. We especially appreciated how the staff took the time to walk us through the menu and explain the daily specials, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. Everything about this place keeps us coming back. A special thank you to the team for making my husband’s birthday extra memorable with a complimentary dessert and a personalized chocolate message. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our evening even more special. We can’t wait to return!

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 11th anniversary at Angeline’s, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. She ordered the steak and said it was probably the best steak she’s ever had, and I have to agree, it was absolutely phenomenal. I had the chicken piccata, and it was easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Every dish was prepared perfectly and exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to our waiter, Joel, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and helped make our anniversary celebration feel truly special. We were also surprised with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch and a perfect ending to our evening. Thank you to the chef and the entire staff for making our 11-year anniversary so memorable. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We will definitely be back for another date night in the future!

It is also steps away from Merchant and Trade Rooftop entrance, perfect for after dinner drinks and views! Overall 10000/10 recommend. We tried the Chicken Picatta and the NY Strip! YUM.
